The 2005 San Jose Bodybuilding and Figure Championships was held on
August 6th and at the beautiful San Jose Convention Center. Promoted by
Paul Love, the San Jose Championships have attracted spectators and
competitive athletes for a quarter of a century.
As sponsors of the show, Abcbodybuilding.com’s representatives included
President Jacob Wilson and Vice-President Gabriel “Venom” Wilson.
Courtesy of Champion Nutrition and Steve Ward the Abcbodybuilding.com
booth featured the world’s highest quality supplements. These included
the smooth tasting Champion Whey protein,
optimal for breakfast and post workout, as well as
Low Carb Ultramet, and
Champion Nutrition Heavy Weight Gainer.
A favorite of competitors at the booth were the
Champion Nutrition Snac Bars, however
these began to run thin as they were consumed by the Vice President
throughout the event!

Champion Nutrition Snac Bars, clearly a fan favorite at the show.
Bodybuilding fans stopped by the booth and enjoyed supplements at
discounted prices, as well as having the opportunity to talk science
with the top up and coming minds of the sport today. Also, of great
excitement was the fact that Jason Williams,
Abcbodybuildings featured Superheavyweight graced the booth at an
incredible 242 rock hard pounds!

Jason Williams Hits a deadly double biceps pose for his fans!
Jason Williams took third in Super heavyweight and displayed clearly
sharper conditioning than any of the competitors in his division, and
the fans in the crowd knew it. During an interview with the President,
Jason discussed his extreme techniques in diet and training. What was
interesting was his approach to quadriceps training, clearly a strength
on his physique. Jason stated that he hits them with relatively lighter
weight (60-70 pound dumbbells), with literally endless repetitions in
bottomless sets ( sets in which no count is kept).

In an announcement to the crowd, this humble athlete thanked his
girlfriend Mellanie for all her support this contest season. Jason
believes that her support is absolutely essential for his future success
in the sport. This same suggestion has also been made by the Great 8
time Mr. Olympia Lee Haney who also was in attendance!
Of great importance was the unique opportunity for the President, Jacob
Wilson to interview bodybuilding Legend Ed Corney. This can be viewed by
clicking Here. Upon completion of
the interview, Ed stated that he absolutely loved the Vanilla Champion
Whey! A few minutes latter the Abcbodybuilding staff presented him with
a bucket of whey protein, an Abcbodybuilding.com T-shirt, and a Champion
Shaker bottle to mix up a shake!

the booth. He still manages to train hard-core.
Ed stated that he trains seven days a week! Ed stated that the members
at his gym will go crazy when they see him sporting his new
abcbodybuilding.com T-shirt!
Jacob Wilson also caught up and talked bodybuilding with the infamous
Flex Wheeler, who perhaps displays the most perfect physique in the
history of the sport. It was interesting to note that Flex is one of
the most humble bodybuilders to talk to. His physique is still looking
stupendous, and he is currently both a column writer and photographer
for various magazines.
As the event rolled on stars continued to poor into the arena. But
perhaps the most dramatic display in the Convention Center was guest
posing by IFBB rookie of the year Chris Dim, the massive Gunter
Schlierkamp and questionably the greatest bodybuilder of all time Ronnie
Coleman! The crowd went wild as these athletes performed stellar
routines, both on stage and down on the floor right in the midst of the
fans! As a finale these great athletes had a legendary pose down to
give the fans a preview of the 2005 Olympia in October!

The ABCbodybuilding staff looks forward to meeting the members at future
up and coming events!
