Default Interesting T-Nation Article (Cell Volumization)

Curious to hear what folks think of this article:

I do realize they are promoting some products. All marketing and advertising aside, though, I had never heard of Glutamine being involved in improving protein synthesis. The claim here is that Glutamine effectively "plows a path" for Leucine to be more effective by increasing/improving cell volume. Very interesting idea.

I know Klosey is not a proponent of Glutamine. Perhaps the Glutamine in normal food sources is more that sufficient for optimal Leucine operation. The article does not mention required quantities of Glutamine on any basis (absolute or per-pound of bodyweight).

In general, I like the article, I believe in the importance of cell volumization, but I don't personally use glutamine or beta-alanine.

So I do 4 out of the 6 steps, and I am surprised creatine wasn't mentioned on that list. I use creatine for it's volumizing effects.

Not sure on the science of glutamine and it's role though.

I always found Venoms article on Glutamine really interesting. I wish the Owners still did articles like they did in the early 2000s, But I guess I have to place the blame on us for not motivating them.
