I think I may be lacking a bit with shoulder workouts.
Any suggestions for read delt and side delts? I want mad visible shoulders! ![]() Edit~ Found these videos. Used them today they are pretty unique (for me at least)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=napwSRlUoQc (used Twisting dumbbell lateral raise and Palms rear shoulder press) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=si9aV4u7nig (used the first exercise in this and it felt awesome - I think it's called rear delt pull downs, that's what I'm going to be calling them) So my shoulder workout went like this- 1. Dumbbell shoulder press 10reps-3sets 2. Twisting dumbbell lateral raise 10-12reps-3sets 3. Palms rear shoulder press 10-12reps-3sets 4. Rear delt pull downs 10-15reps-4sets 5. Rear delt flies 10-15 reps-4sets And at the end we did a bit of pull ups, push ups, and some ab exercises. Last edited by Jyzz; 04-20-2012 at 07:58 AM. Reason: Adding things in |

If you want some bigger delts, be sure to include some heavy pressing as the foundation. It's OK to do some laterals, but just make sure Overhead pressing is your bread & butter.
Regarding rear delts, make sure you are hitting your back hard and with full contraction, you will hit the rear delts on back exercises just fine.

If your front delts are over powering your side and/or rear delts, I believe that preexhausting your side and/or rear delts prior to some heavy pressing for the front delts may help.
