After a long stent of inactivity (fractured ulna) I'm getting back into the game, and along with rehabilitating the strength and bulk of my atrophied arm, and getting back to TKD, I'm finally returning to regular yoga. For as a martial artist, yoga is a wonderful lifeblood, but it piqued my curiosity concerning if any of you did yoga and how it fit into your bodybuilding, or other given main sport. Speak up! Do yoga? How does it fit into your split/sport/schedule/routine?

I don't do yoga other than a few stretches post workout but know a guy (powerlifter) who is really strong and does power yoga regularly. It won;'t hurt and will probably help.

Had a school teacher who only did yoga and cycling. He was crazy strong and had some impressive vascular arms and legs. Always told us he never touched a weight in his life and he looked jacked.

Very few practice yoga with bodybuilding. But its a good idea to do a few yoga stretches.

No Yoga for me, nothing against it, just time is limited so I stick to barbell training.
Actually read lately that resistance training is an effective way to stay mobile/flexible provided your range of motion is decent.

The Yoga on P90x and the stretch DVD is pretty good. Tony Horton is kind of annoying but if you can keep with the stretching and yoga it can reduce injury and make you feel better. I'm bad about tightening up especially when I'm lifting heavy.
