Quads were still sore but everything got done today. Strength day on Friday.

8/12/11 - Strength Squat, Bench, & Deadlift

Squat:
300x5
300x4
300x3

Bench:
210x5
210x5
210x5

Deadlift:
370x6
370x4
370x4

Much needed 2 days of rest, then back to the dreaded hypertrophy work on Monday.

What time and where do you guys lift on Monday? I will be getting into Tallahassee that morning. Might be a little tired and hungry but I'd love to come have a session with you guys.

5:30 we get our blood taken and take our protein and stuff. So we start lifting around 6. I think it is called the william-johnson building. It is right next to Mike's office and landis.

Got you. If you don't mind I'll probably give you a call around 5:15 so I can park and meet up with you that way I can find the place. You said you get blood drawn and take protein there. I assume we have to be off of all other supplements and track our diet as well?

Yea we can only take protein. And Mike gave us a sheet so we can write down what we ate for one day. And then basically trying to mimic that for everyday. And if you eat something completely different one day, just mentioning it to him so he can mark it.

180x8x3sets
180x7x1set
175x8x1set

Hypertrophy sucks! Atleast it leads to my favorite day, power day on Wednesday.

I haven't looked back at my log in awhile but I was looking at my oldest YouTube lifting videos recently. It's weird seeing myself wide stance squat 225 and struggle and now get 355 with a close stance. Completely different. Thanks.

8/19/11 - Strength Squat, Bench, Deadlift

Squat:
310x4x3sets

Bench:
215x4x3sets

Deadlift:
380x4,3,3

At the beginning of this year my squat max was like 255, bench 215, dead 385. Now I'm using those same weights or more for my working sets.
