Here is Dave Barry’s 2009 year in review column. I think it is not one of his best, but still a decent read. My favorite lines are:
“In foreign affairs, former president Bill Clinton goes to North Korea to secure the release of two detained American journalists who purely by coincidence happen to be women.” “On the international-finance front, leaders of the world's economic powers gather for the G-20 summit meeting in Pittsburgh, where, in a rare display of unity, they vote unanimously to fire whoever is responsible for selecting their meeting sites.” Those ones cracked me up. Here’s to hoping that 2010 will be a great year for all. http://www.miamiherald.com/living/co...y/1397654.html

I thought it was pretty funny. I actually wrote a response to it, but Somali Pirates stole it.
