I was off today, but I would just like to express how disappointed I am in Tiger Woods. I expected more from him. Just goes to show that you don't know any of these guys.

hey bro...just wanted to get your thoughts on this...i know Layne has had a lot of success with it...basically my squat is very weak and i just have little confidence in my squat...so i figure...what better way to fix that, then to squat a lot...frequently, and heavy...i've been looking a lot at SMOLOV...are you familiar with tihs? thoughts?

Great work today, first time squatting 405, and 274 for 4 on front squat was nice too. At the end I just did an easy single with 90% on deadlift to feel a little weight before I deadlift for real on Monday. Off on Saturday and then heavy bench on Sunday.

Solid session, kept it somewhat light because heavy doubles and singles are bench are to come on Wednesday in my last heavy bench session before the meet. With the meet less than two weeks away I minimizing the volume as well. Heavy deadlift tomorrow. All is well at this point. Less than two weeks now.

Monster day, huge numbers, that's all I can say. Off tomorrow and last heavy bench day on Wednesday. Meet is less than two weeks away. Still weighing in at 175 (I need to eat more, if that's even possible).

Monster day, huge numbers on the bench. Weighed in at 176 this morning. First time hitting 315 and it went up like a joke so I knocked out 320 without a problem. Last heavy bench workout before the meet on the 19th. Off tomorrow and final heavy squat workout on Friday. Time to keep it going and get stronger.

Comp. Cycle Workout #27, 12-11-09: Squat/Deadlift
Squat
365-2
375-1
375-1
Deadlift
430-1
Easy, just winding down before the meet next Saturday with some light weights. At this point my openers look to be about the following: Squat-363, Bench-290, Deadlift-446. The numbers aren't exact because kilos are used at the meet and they aren't always even in terms of pounds. The only opener I'm not sure about is bench because my bench has shot up as of late, however, I haven't paused anything I've been training touch and go. On my 3rd attempts I plan on shooting for 400, 309, 500.
