Agreed, your work ethic is awesome.....and your prep for the meet has been absolutely beastly.

Thanks fellas. When things have to get done that means it's time to go to work. Like I say in the gym, "It doesn't matter what it feels like, all it matters is that it has to get done."

I think we're all wondering if you finished your work in time to go dominate your meet.

Nope, still much to do. Need to have it done by this Friday and it will be. I did speak to the meet director though, great guy, and I think we may be able to get a USAPL sanctioned meet here at FSU sometime next year, which would be awesome. Anyways, I need to give you a call this weekend to catch up, we haven't lifted together in a while.

Last Thursday and Friday:
Thursday
Squat: 405-1, 405-1
Friday
Bench (Deload): 185-10, 205-10, 215-10

Going to squat today and then probably one other session this week, before I start something new next Monday, which I'll discuss as the time gets closer. Back to work for a little before squats. Hopefully today's squat works well, if it does I hope to have a cool video.

Of course you get a USAPL sanctioned meet at FSU once I leave. Heh, its okay though. I might just be back for Spring if I get into FSU Grad School. Anyways, I just did dynamic squat and deadlift today and will probably do dynamic bench tomorrow and then start my heavy days. I want to get in one heavy day on each lift and then try maxing out again before I leave at the end of the month. So hopefully we can try and coordinate our schedules so some of our lifts occur on the same day.

Okay fellas the Smolov Base Mesocycle Starts tomorrow. In addition to using Smolov for my squat I will also be running it for bench at the same time. I will bench immediately after squatting.

I solicited the advice from a few of my ABC friends who have done this program before and I thank them for their help. There advice was excellent to which I listened to most of it (probably an idiot for not listening to it all). Also, bigbear is starting Smolov up tomorrow too, so it will be welcome to have someone else enjoy the misery along with me.

Also, starting new data collection tomorrow, finishing up my periodization review for my prelimns, and reviewing textbook chapters for a company. Wait, I'm reviewing college textbooks for the youth of America...oh man that can't be good for anybody.
