Looking good brother. USA was scaring me for awhile but they finally pulled through. Not sure who I want to root for them to play against but I hope Germany wins today so it won't be them.
So do you still have to do that meet at the end of this month to qualify for USAPL Open Championships, or was that only for the Nationals in Colorado?

I decided not to go to Nationals this year, I will go next year. The U.S. Open is in Ft. Lauderdale in July 11th, so I have just a few weeks. Defying Gravity For USAPL U.S. Open Championships, Lift 31, Friday, June 25th, 2010
Squat 385-1@8 395-1@8 410-1@8.5 415-1@9.5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpWTsD-RNAo 405-1@9.5 Bench 2X3 2w/275 Possibly could have doubled 415 as planned (but maybe not), but there is absolutely no reason to fail at this point and I was feeling quite fatigued anyways, so that was a good stopping point. I will be combining lifts to cut the number of workouts a week and eliminate the fatigue before we get to the meet. Tomorrow (Monday): Squat and Bench

Nice squat. I plan on maxing out this week. Was wondering if I could come over and do it at your place. Tomorrow would even be good since you are squatting and benching. I'll probably call or text you a little later, have to eat dinner now.

Defying Gravity For USAPL U.S. Open Championships, Lift 35, Monday, July 5th,
2010 Squat 400-1@9 415-1@9.5 405-1@9.5 Paused Competition Bench 300-1@9.5 305-1@9.5 Deadlift 460-1@8.5 Below is a conversation from last Friday, which may not allow me to travel to the meet this coming weekend. Dr. Kim (my major professor): Hey Mike, collecting data for the new study? Me: Yes sir, pilot data, we will be ready next week, I think I just about have our protocol set. Dr. Kim: Good work. How is your review for your preliminary exam coming along? Me: It's going well, I'll be all set by the first week in August. Dr. Kim: I've been meaning to tell you that I would like to have it by July 15th (2 weeks earlier than the set date) to review because I will now have to leave town that next week. And would you be able to lecture my class that week? Me: Sure, no problem. A critical review paper for a preliminary exam is about 50 pages (give or take). Going to the meet will take three whole days since it is far (two to travel and one to compete). If I can finish this paper by Friday I will go, if not then we will have to find another meet because I will need this coming weekend to work. So, time to go to work, when the boss wants something it's got to get done.
