Quick question for you on your dymanic warmup. How essential is listening to Metallica while you do it?

Defying Gravity, Workout #11, Jan. 21th, 2010: Deadlift Deadlift 455-1 475-1 500-1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4zDFyDJhZ8 Good Mornings 135-10 185-10 225-15 Pullups 10plate-8 25plate-5 25plate-4 Bent Over Row 135-15 155-12 175-6 There it is, cross a 500 deadlift off the list, we are on to 600 this year. Weighed in right at 178 today. It feels good to pick up heavy things off the ground. And thank God that I don't have to lift weights tomorrow, I think the 225 good morning for 15 was worse than the 500 pull. Hypertrophy bench Saturday and Hypertrophy squat Sunday.

I felt so physically ill afterwards it was amazing. I definitely fell asleep from exhaustion between sets of chin-ups. I think my legs are still purple from the occlusion as well. Off tomorrow and dynamic deadlifts on Tuesday.

Two workouts to log here. But first, if you do a Ph.D. in exercise physiology please understand that when you take a class called Organ Physiology you will learn more information in a week than you have in your whole life.
Defying Gravity, Workout #15, Jan. 28th, 2010: DE Bench Bench: 8X3 155+4chains for 8X3 Defying Gravity, Workout #16, Jan. 29th, 2010: DE Squat/Deadlift Squat 185+2chains for 6X3 Deadlift 275 for 4X3 No assistance work as last week I maxed on deadlifts, so I just did speedwork this week. Off tomorrow as we get ready for the real deal. Heavy bench Sunday and then heavy squat Monday. Time to get some rest. I think I'm going to eat 3 steaks tonight.
