Yeah, that's a sick deadlift. What is even more crazy, to me, is your strength in pull-ups and chin-ups after doing deadlifts and good mornings. If I don't do pull-ups as my first back exercise, my strength in the exercise decreases to the point where its not even effective. Keep up the good work and it was nice meeting you today!

I'm just trying to keep up with you man, as far I as I know you got me on deads right now.
You better watch out next time you come to the garage Prez. Thanks man, you always motivate me on deadlifts. Quote:
Defying Gravity, Workout #2: Hypertrophy Bench Bench 225-11 215-10 215-10 205-10 Incline 185-10 185-10 Dips 2X25 w/ Body Weight Good work. 225 for 11 was a 1 rep PR with that weight. A good way to start off the cycle benching. It was about 35 degrees in the garage today, which made it all the more fun. Haven't done a hypertrophy bench workout in over a month because of the meet so I'll be pretty messed up tomorrow (awesome), but tomorrow is the real deal, hypertrophy squat. Also, one other change I made to this cycle is that I will no longer be squatting with knee wraps. The USAPL does not allow them in their RAW division (in which I lift) therefore it does no good to use them. I just got some knee sleeves and may or may not use them as they do not help with more weight. Time to eat, watch the Cowboys hopefully win tonight, and get ready to squat tomorrow.

Squat 315-14 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDiWeoy9TAo 300-10 300-10 Occlusion Squats 2X20 W/ 185 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=043Y0g7Md5o Chin-Ups BW-14 BW-11 Great stuff. Got rid of the knee wraps and hit a nice PR with 315 for 14 reps. Having trouble walking around now, which is awesome. Off tomorrow and hypertrophy military on Tuesday.

Nothing like getting pumped to Metallica. I wish I could but I crushed my headphones with a 75lb dumbbell. So I have to listen to the crappy gym music.
I don't know who that is yelling throughout your videos, but he's really got you going to your limits. Nice occlusion squats too, I want to try occlusion training atleast once this semester.

You know it.
Defying Gravity, Workout #4: Hypertrophy Military Military 135-11 115-10 125-10 125-10 Close Grip Bench 185-10 185-10 185-10 Dips 2X20 w/ BW Solid stuff. First day of the standing military press as opposed to the seated and liking it. 135 for 11 was solid and it gave me a monster headache. Took a lot out of me, hence the 185 for 10 on close grip. Deadlift tomorrow, can't wait.

Hey man, I hit 402 at a meet last month:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wESvYsGYO7k And also hit a really sloppy 405 in training in early December, both of those lifts were with wraps. I feel stronger now even without the wraps and look to hit at least 430 at the end of this cycle at about 179 or 180. We shall see, reps are going great and feel good so far. First heavy squat day on this cycle is next Monday, should have a better idea of how the heavy weight feels then.
