Default Common Gym Myths

Just finished training, overheard a conversation from a trainer and client and it made me think what gym myths do you guys hear mostly commonly?

Today i literally heard the trainer say to his female client

'women should focus on aerobic activites as lifting weights will make them have a 'manly' apperance'

'the best way to tell you worked out well enough is if your sore in the morning'

Whats the stupidiest things you've heard?

Several, but the most stupid one was,
'the more fat you have the better because fat turns into muscle'.
or
'As long as i do my sit ups and ab workouts ill have a 6 pack' :S

"Creatine and/or Protein is bad for your kidneys"

"Prohormones are good b/c they are legal"

"I can't lift heavy for long, b/c I just get too big"

Matthew 7:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

I agree 100%, I believe it loosens you up in a negative way. They say a lion will stretch its muscles before chasing its prey but that's false, it stretches after sleeping just like the rest of us do lol. In fact, if you watch any lion documentaries they will almost always stay quite still right before pouncing their prey...take that BB.com!
