And thank you for your continued service.

Thanks cory! Commander, Recruiting is a 3 year "stint", at that point you can apply to stay out there and make that your Army job, or head "back" to regular Army type units and do what you used to. I choose the latter, recruiting is not the environment I wanted to stay in, and career wise I got all I could out of it...it was time to move on.

no really "planned" assistance today..I think Fridays will be a wild card day..whatever I feel like after the main lifts. The temp gym I used today until I am moved in had a really fun looking obstacle course, but I was unable to use it..because it was "for another class"...ANNOYING! so I dominated some weights and left

exp squat:
265x5, 5 sets

SS w/

exp Bench:
165x5, 5 sets

circuit of (3 rounds):

Chins
BW +10x8
Pushupsx 20 reps
Floor ab twist x 25 lbsx 10 reps
DB squats: 40s x 10..just because I felt like it!

everything is done explosively..as reps are as fast as possible

Today I kind of made the decision that I like this "hybrid" style workout a little better. I cant speak for results yet, as Its only been a week..but I feel better conditioned and more "overall fit". Plus, I saw some strictly powerlifter folks come into the gym today..and to be honest, they didnt look like they touched weights or knew what a gym was..I am sure they are stronger than me..but that the ONLY thing I dont really like about Powerlifting...not that looks mean jack )@U#(* but...u know...hard to explain

Glad you are liking it. I can personally say that I feel great with these workouts. I feel like I can "perform" at anytime, just really athletic feeling.

Plus, I am keeping, if not building muscle since the bodybuilding show in spite of lifting a bit lighter and more explosive than I was lifting leading up to the bodybuilding show.

I hope (and believe it will) work for you.
