Thanks commander. The kids are great, growing fast and enjoying my time with them. Recently made the decision to get out of army recruiting and go back to the "operational army". The stress in recruiting is unreal. Even though we risk a deployment the overall quality of life will be better!

Quarter mile springs on Sunday.
4x1:20 each Gym closed on Monday (govt cutbacks, no fed holidays) will lift Tuesday 5 mile ruck march today..1 hr 15 min w/ 40 lbs.

Deadlift: 475x3x1 rep -no heavy single, was lifting over 90% anyway Squat: 385x3x1 rep -solid workout, weights felt suprisingly light.

DUP Volume
Squat: 380x4x3 reps Bench: 240x4x3 reps good workout, cut it 2 sets short. -Not sure where I want to go from here. Next week will be a small taper, I have a few ideas for my next training, just need to iron it out!

Need to evaluate myself and my goals to develop this next program.
With my decision to go back into the operational army, I will not have the luxury to do my own training program 100% of the time. I will be required to conduct army pt and run more often. Not gonna lie, all the frequency I have been doing now, is kind of burning me out. I want to remain strong and still be able to compete in powelifting in the future, which is why I should try to modify training now if I choose to. One option would be to do a 5/3/1 style. I would prob regress in strenght a little right off the bat, but hopefully my body would re adapt. I think it would also allow me to have a renewed motivation in the gym and reqlly focus on the days lift. Squatting 3 days a week, while its working is absolutely beating me down, because I workout very early in the morning. Any thoughts from any followers of my journal? Mike, if Ur out there, please provide some feedback! Goals: Stay strong and be able to compete in powelifting, while simultaneously being able to remain motivated in the gym, focusing on main lifts. All while still complying with army directed pt program ( meaning 2 workouts a day).
