I breath in right before, I don't think I could breat in during the descent, too much concentration on staying tight...I'd forget to breath!

Week 3, Day 2

Deadlift
455x3x1
-no heavy single today, i was working at 90%, so it didnt make sense to me

Squat:
380x3x1
-felt really good

NO BS workout today, decided against a heavy DL single, as I was working at 90% anyway. Also went to a chiropractor, there was nothing "wrong" with me, was just going more for preventive reasons..good thing I went. Found out I have a pinched nerve in my C2 or C3, which would have gotten worse in a few weeks, and my L3 or 4 is also slightly out of alignment..again, not very bad, but good thing I went. Best part of all of this is the Doctor I saw gives free treatment to Veterans!

Week 3, day 3

Squat:
375x5x3

Bench:
250x5x3

Seated military:
160x3x4

Rack Bench:
285x3x5

Good training day, going to take a week to deload, also plan on getting a skills eval in at some point to evaluate my maxxes. 3 days a week I thought was going to be a walk in the park...the WM had other plans! Also, rack/board press and seated military have been helping my bench out significantly

Supps I am currently taking

-multi (w/ breakfast)
-glucosamine(1g with each meal)
-fish oil (1 tab w/ lunch and dinner)
-vit C (500 mg w/ breakfast and dinner)
-bcaa between meals
-zma

Of this what is esential, and optimal dosage? I am really thinking about ditching it all and only taking maybe either a multi and/or glucosamine...keeping bcaa between meals

Here are my thoughts, fish oil is great for overall health, so keep it, Vitamin C is dirt cheap and has numerous benefits as well, so keep it. Although expensive, I would consider keeping the BCAA, I believe the science behind their efficacy is good. Although, to save money, maybe wait to use them wen/if you go on a cut.

If finances are an issue, I would stop the glucosamine first, ZMA second and finally, the BCAA.

Finance is not an issue...just wondering what I "really" need. And don't worry, no matter what bcaa is here to stay!

25-26 May, Skills Eval

Squat:
445x1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5JWEO3X-ZU
-didnt get a good enough breath to stay tight as I'd like, but was already committed to the squat, decent attempt tho

Bench:
285-295x1 (no video)
-spotter said he didnt help @ 295, but finger tips were on the bar..either way, good progress made!

Deadlift:
495x1 (went up too easy)
515x1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vgCo_lH_hA
-slight rounding...overall not a bad lift
