Happy Easter everyone! Supposed to do 400m and 200m sprints today...traded it in for a family walk and easter egg hunt in the yard. Since I am on a deload I will sprint tomorrow, tuesday will be some 2x2 dor squat and bench...thurs may be some light squat and few deadlift singles or a moderate 3x5...still unsure.

Woke up today to lift, decided not to...mikes programs always take a lot out of me (good thing) so I decided another rest day is a good thing. Plan is to rest my mind and allow some super compensation occur in the muscles.

Tire sprints w/ 20 lbs
6x40 yards each

Every 2 sprints I did 1 minute pushups, 1 minute rowers

If I keep this workout in my rotation I could see some huge turnover into the armys new pt test that should be coming soon...it will consist of

-shuttle sprint
-1 minute pushups
-standing long jump
-1 minute rowers
-1.5 mile run

New Training Block

Week 1, Day 1

Squat:
340x5x5

Bench:
230x5x5

PushPress:
155x3x5

New training will be M,W,F...this will allow me a little more rest w/ the small kids in the house, and allow recovery time, since I have to run/sprint for the Army. Looking forward to this!
