Looking good brother. Just one small suggestion if you don't mind. Stay a little tighter on your squat at the start. Before you descend squeeze your hips forward and hold them there for a second while you tighten every muscle in your body and then descend (Arian does a good job of this). Also, clean up your setup a bit. Watch this video from SSPT, I promise you will add 10 lbs. to your squat immediately: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtPN-...eature=feedlik

So when is your competition? What are your goals for your first competition? I don't know if you've talked to Mike about it, but your goal should be to go 9 for 9. That means picking good attempts and knowing your limits. Most people open each lift with something they can triple, but Mike has me go alittle lighter than that so that I don't bomb out of the competition. So I'd say start off with something easy to get any jitters out and it'll make you much more confident going into your 2nd and 3rd attempts. Other than that, just get as pumped up as you can before each attempt. Fight through every attempt, even if its going up slow its still going up. And don't hold anything back. Good luck!

34 days
Dup peaking, week 2, day 1 Squat: 355x5x5 -good sets, implemented a new set up and staying tighter, I now understand the squat as a full body workout! Deadlift: 355x3x5 -nothing special -to anyone who knows the usapl rules...I am a little confused. Must a t shirt be worn under the singlet? What about an underarmor type cutoff? What about t shirt type with sleeves? Also can spandex be worn under the singlet? I need some clarification haha
