DUP taper, day 2
Bench: 255x2x1 Incline for small assistance -i have decided to shoot to compete on march 19-20 in PA. I will compete in the 198 class, and wass 200.8 last night.. Its soon, but I just have to do it. I will be incorporating a daily countdown (like the cool kids do) so as of today I have 45 days to get strong. -my plan is to finish this current taper, then restartt the volume block, run another deload, then peak for the comp. -any help by guys who have competed is greatly appreciated...ie, what can I do pre,para comp day to make this experience best possible?

202 lbs upon waking Today is an off day, will be spent walking thru museums with my family...ill be sure to pack plenty of gatorade and bcaa!!!

Peaking cycle 1. after talking w/ wm, we decided to peak for 2 weeks, deload and assess, peak another 2 weeks. Squat: 345x4x6 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjzDrxdf2Q4 Deadlift: 335x3x5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owU50CL0rLo (felt pretty easy, I may be on the lighter side of my calculated max) -squat form started to deteriorate after 5 reps...Ill get stronger, no worries!

I was thankful to see that! I have stopped squatting in front of a mirror, and it feels like I am doing quarter reps...was refreshing to see parallel (I think a little below actually)!
DUP peaking: week 1 day 2 Bench 215x5x6 Paused first and last reps. When I get into the lower rep range, I will be pausing slightly more to ge used to comp. Lucily I have someone at my gym who competes usapl!
