Deadlift day (done yesterday, just didnt get a chance to update)
475x1 (no straps..PR) this was a "near max" I still think there was some left in the tank..either way, felt great...usually after 450x1 I need straps..my goal is to not use them anymore http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjNzzIu2UTc 515x1 (straps, tied PR)..felt good, pretty heavy too. no need to continue, just wanted to tie my old PR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QruBKGyHRDM -my focus now is no straps DLing...time for RAW strenght baby! my plan is to DE Bench w/ some assistance work tomorrow (friday) DE squat w/ some shoulder work (Sunday) Deadlift w/ some chins/pullups (Tues) REST/make my new plan of attack.. I will have a 6 week class coming up, perfect time to hit it hard and make some gains!

Deload/Taper
DE Bench 7 sets total @ 2 reps each 50,55,60% 1RM DB Rear Flye 30x10, 3 sets CGBP: 165x10, 2 sets Dips: BW+25x10, 2 sets -went in to go through motions, all weights felt relatively light. I feel this kind of "switch" between routines is great for me. I find that if I completely take time off, or retract my training too much I get lazier and its harder for me to get back into the rythm. My main goal is resting, while at the same time still stimulating my body Next Day: Sunday, DE Squat/light shoulder press

Went to the gym for DE squats and light shoulders today...no power. O well, its a forced day off...I am not complaining, especially because I am in a deload anyway. Tonight I will do an occluded dog walk instead and lift tomorrow. With weds or thursday being my deadlift day...leaning towards thursday, because I have to travel all weekend...so it will be a nice split up and not give me too long a break before I get heavy again on monday the 18.

Taper: squats day De squat: weight not important... Last set of DE squats traded in for a WM set.. 225x20, Felt great. Really wanted to do this! Chins and bb rows added for upper body assistance. Was gonna do light shoulders, but I decided to do a pull day rather than have 2 push days in a row...looking like thursday will be my deadlift day

Deadlift day...decided to get it done
Worked up to 425x3x3 Did some light shoulders and inc bench as well. Gearing up for an insane cycle with my man workoutmchne...he is gonna get me strong enough to compete one day...when I grow up...ha ha

been driving for two days (NJ-GA) with a stop overnight in NC last night. decided to do some sprints this morning, to loosen up my legs from being in a car for that long. all settled into my jail cell like room here at school, missing the family...that will only motivate me to work hard in the gym...domination starts tomorrow.

well, suprise 1 at school hit me...another "for fun" PT test...except its not "for fun"..although it does not count towards completion of the course, an low score could keep me off the Commandants (deans) list. I decided to push the start of this new program until tomorrow PM...my plan is to rock the pt test, then eat like a horse all day to replenish my body and rock the weights in the gym...ITS ON!
