very soon greg! i cannot believe how easily it has been progressing for me so far, even my grip has no issues yet...i felt like giving 315 a go next time i do deads, will pull AT LEAST 295 (may just go plate by plate)

Im heading the same way myself. But im taking the increases steady, 5-10lbs per workout. have you switched to sumo grip or are you still doing double overhand?

still using double overhand..sumo is coming fast tho...grip strenght is a priority right now...once i get back where i was i will need straps, i used to use use them all the time and my forearms alway lagged...got a new bb app that tracks my food, so i can now post my macros..and i can effectively track that aspect aswell...
today:339/348/69 Squats: 135x5 185x3 225x2 255x5,5,5 BB Sh. Press: Barx10 95x4 125x5,5,5 BB Row: 125x3 155x5,5,5 ++ Pullups:BWx5,3,1 Chinups:BWx6,5,3 Done in alternating SS fashion between sets of squats I never knew squatting this frequently would have such an impact on me...by the time my 2 day break comes...I am ready for it...sometimes I even have to take it a workout early, then get back on track..its mentally and physically draining |

yesterdays macros: 256/224/44 (non workout day so i keep them lower)
-walked outside x 1 hr trick-or-treating w/ my kid today.. Squats: 135x5x2 205x3 225x2 265x5,5,5 Bench: Barx10 135x5 165x3 200x5,5,4 Deadlift: 135x5 225x3 315x5 Dips: BWx15,10 -squats- felt heavy, maybe i was tired, mind wasnt all the way there, felt sluggish -deadlift, went to sumo grip for working set...felt good |

Only one hour?! That's not nearly enough trick-or-treating.

lol, im in a small neighborhood...injury is doing way better, no pain..only soreness comes from my muscles not being used to working out..lol
yesterdays macros: 248/313/83 today: Treadmill walk 4.5mph 6% incline...30 mins getting closer to running! |

lifts are coming along nicely, you gotta love Starting Strength.
ahh, trick or treating, I had to pass out the candy this year, my wife got to take the kids, you're lucky bigbear, I'd rather go with the kids any day!

thanks commander, yeah..it was the first time I was able to actually go trick or treating w/ my boys. First one is 2.5 years old and he was either too young, or i was overseas...next one is 4 months...he rode along!! haha
yesterdays macros: 251/290/74 Today: 197 (up 5 lbs since 2 weeks ago) Squats: Barx8 135x5 205x3 225x2 270x5,5,3 (failed, racked for 10 sec. finished) BB Sh. Press: Barx8 95x5 130x5,5,4 BB Row: 135x3 165x5,5,5 Pullups:BWx6,4,2 \ Chins: BWx7,5,5 /both done alt. between sets of squats -Squats got heavy for 3rd set, will see how I feel warming up next time wether to bump up or stay for one more workout -BB Sh. Press: should progress next time, 3rd set felt heavy from the start and my mind got out of it |

if you failed on the BB OH press i wouldnt move up, i tried that as i assumed i had an off day, next thing i know i ended up stuck for 2 weeks as i overloaded the bar. nice progress on squats, im only just pushing towards 200lbs again after an injury.

yeah, thanks for the input greg...after the first rep it felt heavy, i cranked out 4 good ones then failed..i may err w/ caution and do it again to get 5 good ones...i HATE stalling..and progressing too fast, when ur not ready is the perfect way to! haah
