BROKE MY GOAL!!!!! |

-thanks commander, regarding the PM, I think my stance went wide subconsciously, as i used to make my shins bleed in the gym..i didnt even realize i was this wide until the video, also, i feel i can keep my back straighter that way...ill make it a point to go more conventional next time and see how it feels!!

Whatever works, I actually got to thinking about the PM after I sent it. I realized that even though your pull was unconventional, if it works, go for it. I totally understand the rationale of trying to find a position that helps you keep your back straighter.
For you the wide stance helps, for me, it might actually be a wide grip that helps my back, I was thinking about when I lift with a snatch grip, I feel like my back stays tighter, but of course, a snatch grip increases the ROM, so it is a give and take in terms of pros and cons.

Front Squat: 205x5, 2 sets Chins: BW+55x5, 2 sets DE Deads: 225+chainsx2, 2 sets 250+chainsx2, 2 sets -my knees had a little shake on the last 2 heavy set..first time this has happened to me, anyone got any pointers to work on this???

END OF CYCLE
-cutting the last shoulder workout out, due to traveling out of town tomorrow. -made some good gains on this cycle, esp. in bench and deads, got the last set of squats up, which was improvement from last time. as well as identified some weaknessess. -any form help on those last 2 sets of squats is appreciated. not sure whats next, i have a week vacation to decide!

honestly, I don't think your form was off, I went back and looked at your 240 DE video and your form was good. I think 375 is just getting close to a 1 rep max so naturally it isn't going to be as pretty.

SMOLOV starts monday! still deciding what kind of upper body work I'll do. im thinking about benching on mondays w/ some sort of periodization (hvy, hyper, de rotation) for maintenance then maybe some shoulder pressess on friday or something...i would also like to incorporate cgbp, dips, and pullups/chins when possible...however my main focus will be squatting
