WM cycle, workout #19
Squat HVY Squat: 340x4 345x4 355x2 365x2 Front Squat: 195x5, 2 sets (i need to work on holding the bar) chins: BW+50x5, 2 sets DE Deads: 240x2, 2 sets 265x2, 2 sets -Hit all reps on squats today...starting to get more confidence back in my squats...they used to be my money maker...but not going heavy, or even squatting often took my psych level down...great workout today though! |

I hear you on holding the bar, im finding hard due to shoulder and wrist flexibility issues. How high up do you manage to raise your elbows?

I have poor writs/shoulder flexibility too...i can get my upper arms parallell w/ the ground, and holding gets hard when I go into the squat

Deadlift Deadlift: 410x4 420x4 435x2 445x2 Goodmorning: 155x10 185x8 205x6 Pullups: BW+10x8,6 BB Rows: 140x10, 2 sets -Instead of taking an off day tomorrow, I will workout Friday and Saturday because I have a softball game Sunday, so it will be a natural day off. Also, I am going out of town late next week and my schedule will get messed up anyway, so ill get as much as I can in before i am force to take an extra few days off out of town. |

Holy cow, softball KILLED my quats/hip flexors...its been a while since I have done 61 foot sprints!!
WM Cycle, workout #24 Military HYPER BB Military: 135x6 120x8, 2 sets CGBP: 135x10, 3 sets Dips: BW+10x15, 3 sets Russian twist: 25x8each way also addedd russian twists to help me work on batting power another game tonight, seriously considering taking tomorrow as an off day, and doing deads wednesday before i head out of town..just to cover the few days ill be gone in case I cannot lift ill be honest...the last 2 weeks of this program have been killer, i think my body is reaching its limit!!! great program overall tho, im working on a write up. |

Yesterday softball stats: 3-3(2 singles, double) 3RBI 1 run scored
Im the new guy so didnt enter the game until the 4th inning. Today is a complete off day Tomorrow: deads I will go from there, unsure how much Ill be able to get to a gym while out of town on this long weekend, so deads before will make up for not being able to while gone...if I can lift, thats even better I have convinced myself about 75% so far to drop the DE bench and squats on this last time through and do Deads, hvy bench, hvy squat and call the cycle complete. my body is definately feeling the final 2 weeks have its toll, and with my softball and travels throwing the whole cycle off, I may just stop the bleeding and save what I can out of it, taper down a week w/ some DE work then hit a DC blast again before giving this beast another run. I have slightly lowered my protein intake and upped my carbs as i have been feeling beat up and run down..hopefully my body will produce a little more energy for repair work now. |
