this week will be an "easy week" for cardio...2 mile run today w/ my 20lb vest on...25 pushups, 50 crunches at the end
i also picked up some xtend today...for when i have to go longer than 3 hrs between meals, and I have also identified a gap in my nutrition..the between dinner and bed time..i usually get a small snack in, so I will add 2 scoops of xtend between dinner and nigt time protien shake for some added Protein Synthesis..not gonna over do the xtend, just hen i go abnormally long between meals and after dinner before bed |

Was supposed to be cardio today...i cancelled it...my workout schedule will flex a little this week..well technically beginning of my next week...i will lift tomorrow (Sat), which is supposed to be my off day, i got asked to run w/ a guy on Sunday (my lift day)...so i took friday off, lifting sat, running sunday.. ill take monday off, then my sched. will be back on track lifting Tuesday...sounds good to me!

Inc DB Curls 35x22 Rev. Grip cable curls 40x12 Seated Calf 100x12 SLDL 205x12 Squats 325x7 / 215x20 -must start using a watch or ipod to time my reps on calves...my count is too fast!, felt a great burn today -wore a belt on my 20REP squats...last time i did these i remembered how much stress it puts on my lower back...NONE today w/ the belt, i can see progress coming fast on this one...20 reps was really a piece of cake! (well, reps 8,9,10 were tough..very tough...then i count backwards and the last 10 flew by, i got in a groove...rep, breathe twice, rep, repeat) |

every hr in my office today i did 15 elevated perfect pushups and 30 crunchs...only in the office for like 4hrs today, may start implementing this once or twice a week..i also have a pullup bar and swiss ball in the office (army recruting station!) we have it all..haha
once i got home, i put my 20lb vest on and took my dog for a 2 mile run! |

Thanks commander, i was def. conservative in the number of reps i gave myself on squats..next time i will keep 325 and aim for 8 good ones...i really like the feel of the belt on my widowmaker..i used it again today for my heavy set of rack deads...it really takes quite a load off my lower back and i think ill be able to pull some major poundage in the coming weeks! (belt will only be used on my heavy sets deads and widowmaker squats...unsure if i want to use it for heavy squats at this time or not...TBD!!)
