yesterdays workout was C2 BB Decline Bench 225x13 Smythe Sh. Press 60*x17 Smythe CG Bench 50*x20 Rack Chins 45x14 Rack Deads 405x6, 365x10 *denotes weight on each side of the smythe machine i forgot how hard Rack Deads are!! Todays workout: Cardio 5mile run followed by superset of... 15 Close hand Pushups (thumbs touching) 50 Crunches 15 Close hand pushups (thumbs touching) |

its really fun to track your progress since your surgery, I have always been one to lift but recently I have had to stop working out for a few months because of some things that came up in my life, I have been back in the gym for about 3 months now and finally starting to get back where i was and even making some improvements. Reading your journal, and everyone elses always helps me when I'm stuck in a rut or not making big improvements (like we always hope for), I can see that I'm not the only one having trouble or going through the same hardships, and see how others handle different situations to help me with mine...Great progress man and I will continue to follow your journal...I hope to start one soon myself.

Thanks ehoy! hearing things like that are great motivation for me to continue to push myself! I encourage you to start a log so all can follow along on your training journey..its also a great way to get some input if people notice you could do something a little better or have a more efficient workout. I have always had a winning attitude and glad my hardship showed you that anything can be overcome...i was back in the gym pretty much when the doc cleared me, I gave myself an extra week, just for confidence reasons..wanted to make sure i really was good to go!!
Todays workout: C2 i keep forgetting to weigh myself..i will sat morning, since its an off day! Preacher Curls 25*x15 RP Alt. Pinwheel Curls 35x20 SS Hack squat calves 200x15 SS Sumo Leg Press 200x20 SS Hack Squat 290x10/200x20 the numbers seemed a little low to me...i didnt look at my old log numbers from my last blast...I WILL INCREASE BY 10-15lbs minimum next time on the leg exercises! 45 minute workout. |

very easy run today...like 1.75 miles or so, very slow pace..done in formation for the army..lift again sunday

O yeah, im coming for it man...385 felt great, i opted to bump my higher rep set up and bang out more reps rather than go for more weight..
in other news, my 2.5 year old set a PR...he can now push 5 gallon water jugs across a whole room, he is motivated though, he tries to use them to get onto the counter to grab himself a protien bar (south beach bars..he calls them protien bars). |
