Maybe so, but man it doesn't seem like it to me. At the beginning of your journal you squatted 205 for 3X5 and now 335 for the same reps. That's just awesome dude. Can't wait to see you get even stronger. Monster increases, tremendous work.

thanks man!..in the begining, it was muscle memory, I am above where I was as of now, (with the exception of deads, i continue taking them slow, im almost caught up).while yes I am still progressing, i guess it does not seem as "quality" to me because each set is very taxing both physically and mentally...i do them all w/ good form, but the last couple reps are slow coming up..thanks for the post, It is definately motivating...cant wait till tomorrow to go shatter some more numbers!

last night i had what I call an "opportunity workout"..it was cardio day, getting late and i could not make it to the gym...lots of things going on...so..i once heard that to exercise you only need air and opportunity...did 3 circuts of
100 jumping jacks 25 pushups 25 situps about 15 minutes in total |

Squats:
135x10 225x8 295x3 340x5,3/2,3 Bench: 135x10 185x7 230x5,5,5 Deadlift: 135x8 225x5 315x3 390x5 Dips: Scratched Incline Situps BWx25,25 -Hit a sticking point on squats...could not progress w/3x5 Ladies and gents, today I decided (while in the gym) that I am stuck on squats, and all of my other lifts will be hitting a wall very soon, I can feel it...I am DONE w/ Starting Strenght. My second run thru lasted 5 weeks, just about as long as I think I could go and progress each workout...I contemplated resting and running again, but then I thought back to why I did this program...as a REHAB...well...job done, and a great one at that...I have passed my numbers from before my surgery...it is now time to rest until Sunday(will do a couple cardio days), then I officially start my DC Blast...all workouts are not officially locked in yet, I am still drawing up what exactly I want to do...the outline will be here before Sunday, and ill continue to keep the journal...it motivates me, and I love getting feedback from the ABC members...Starting Strenght was my preseason...ITS GAME TIME!!! (special shout outs to commander, workoutmachine, and ordo ab for the insights and tips thruout!) **looked at my previous logs...my deadlift is still not caught up...i pulled 450x6 before surgery...was taking SS light to keep progressing..time to up the ante! |

I'm looking foward to watching your DC blast.
And 450x6, that's an impressive deadlift, hope to see you work back up to that!
