Default Tabata Results

I've noticed a huge difference in my physique since implementing two tabata sessions a week. I've tried everything from shoulders, legs, arms, chest, and back. I love them all. Im gaining nice muscle mass too! A good change up if your looking to burn some serious calories..

When you say "two sessions a week", do you mean two four minute sessions or two circuits a week. Basically, what's your current routine? I've been reading a lot about Tabata intervals and I'm eager to throw them into the mix.

I incorporated it into my workouts.

Ex. Say Monday is my chest day and I decide to do tabata. I'll hit up Incline Barbell, Flat, and Decline Tabata for the day, then finish off with my regular routine.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be my regular schedule and workouts, but on Thursday I decide to hit up Tabata for all my arm workouts.

I hit the gym 5 days a week. Out of the 5 days I have two days which I dedicate to Tabata workouts. I mix it up too. If I hit tabata chest and arms one week, I'll do back and legs the next.. Just to keep the body guessing.

I hit normal 30 minutes of moderate cardio after workouts on the days I dont do TABATA.


I've really cut down nicely without dieting too strictly. This is my results as of July.

HI Trench
I had never heard of Tabata before so looked it up online. I'm due a routine change soon and sounds interesting.
Most articles I could find were long-winded etc - do you have a book / online reference to check out?

In simple terms its almost like a 4 minute drill.

20 seconds on
10 seconds off
20 seconds on
--------------
1 minute

YOU DO THIS FOUR MINUTES STRAIGHT with one exercise or 8 ROUNDS.

There's a ton of clips on YOUTUBE on it.

That tabata video with bw exercises is a good idea for conditioning and gpp especially when the weather sucks.
