I'm looking for some good reading; something to challenge me intellectually and spiritually as well as to guide me along the right footsteps to living a healthy christian life.
i have often found that i tend to put lifting and dieting ahead of religion at times which is horrible and a friend recommended a book "if you want to walk on water, you've got to get out of the boat" - John Ortberg which really helped me put things back into perspective and straighten out my life. i really enjoyed this read and recommend it to anyone who finds themselves struggling with little issues in their life. i am looking for some new reading material and was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations. to get a grip on reads i like; my favorite authors are: -Henri Nouwen - Deidrich Bonhoeffer -C.S. Lewis thanks in advance for the recommendations |

Have you read Mere Christianity and Screwtape Letters? Both excellent CS Lewis reads.
The Question of God: C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud Debate God, Love, Sex, and the Meaning of Life by Armand M Nicholi Jr.
