Cooking oatmeal in water doesn't yield the best taste in the world. Was just wondering what if anything you guys may add to it to make it a bit easier to get down.

cinnamon and splenda if you are actually going to cook it; i prefer to grind it and just slam it down so i don't have to plug my nose to eat it

I usually put a scoop of protein in mine, gives me the taste as well as the extra protein.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll try some things out. Just don't want to add unnecessary sugar and calories is all. |

1 tsp agave
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 cup oats approx. 10 raisins water/milk to your liking I like it in both water and milk, although lately I have been doing it in water. EDIT: I also remember an episode of Alton Brown's show on food network when he made oatmeal with an herbal tea instead of water. I believe it was an orange chamomile tea. I should give this a try tomorrow.
