I've been in school my whole life lol...officially started college in 03, but I actually took a few classes in high school...

I think we discuss this in the "about us tab", but the whole reason I go to school is bodybuilding. I am not a business man, don't really care about possessions or money except to support my bodybuilding...Every single word that comes out of my instructors mouths, I try and relate to our sport...that is all that drives me. I am obsessed with this sport. When I think about getting out, I think to myself, there is no place in the world where I will have a better opportunity to learn about the body and discover new techniques to revolutionize our sport...now one of my main motives is research. Actually testing ideas I have on stuff like protein for optimal muscle growth and fat loss...getting pumped just thinking about it lol! Honestly, I think my main purpose in life is to revolutionize this sport...so that's what drives me.

Morally? Fiscally? Socially?

What's your favorite drink from Starbucks (or whatever coffee shop you go to)?

What kind of clothing style do you rock on a day-to-day basis?

What is your favorite non lifting sport to play and/or to watch?

What non lifting sports have you played?

How has your family reacted to you and your brothers passion for bodybuilding, and your dedication to it as a life long career path?

What are your plans after your PhD? Will you be moving back home?

Yeah, I am from the bay area, born and raised. Now in illinois working on my PhD.

I played hockey for 7 years, so Alexander moginly was my fav...barry bonds did so many incredible things in the bay area, I did not miss an at bat of his!

Nah, don't really drink coffee.

If I can, shorts and sandles everyday. Shirts are often colored, but sometimes t-shirts.

Honestly, could not tell you...at this point in my life all I have time to read are bodybuilding articles and journals.

To play is definitely hockey. Like I said, I played for a number of years so have some skills.

Completely supportive. You have to know my dad...he was pushing me on the track when I was like 8! He is in great shape and always encouraged us.

What are your plans after your PhD? Will you be moving back home?

Absolutely no idea...really. Little bit stressful cause I know eventually I'll have to decide. But I just don't know. My thought is that after I get this, I can do virtually anything. So my guess is, whatever opportunity presents itself, that I like.

Same here, Santa Rosa born and raised, up until age 8 anyway!



Was it always a joint interest with you and the prez, or did one of your kinda lead the other into bodybuilding and the scientific route in general?

What else is is important in your life outside of developing and pioneering the sport of bodybuilding?
