hey guys,
I haven't been on here in a long time, but i just found an old tub of creatine, with an expiration date of 03/05... and i'm ordering some supplements today and wonder if i should just order new creatine, or if this old stuff will still be good... I remember the common answer is that it's okay if there aren't chunks in it... by the way, i haven't ordered supplements in years, have they gone up in price like crazy or something? last time i ordered protein, it was 5 pounds for less than 25 bucks, now i can't seem to find it for under 30... anyone know any good prices? thanks

Im using creatine right now i bought back when i was fifteen (im 20 now). It still works fine.
Protein has probably gone up a lot in the last years. Haha, sorry but there's no way your gonna find five pounds for 25 bucks now. More like 2 pounds for 15 bucks. The closest thing i can get at that price is at Costco, 6 pounds for about 34 dollars. pretty close to what your thinkin, but its a protein blend of whey, casein, and soy. BTW, i think soy protein is totally fine in the powdered forms (people are gonna blaze me for saying that, but nonetheless i think its ok).

The only studies i have seen on soy protein were based on soy coming from the bean itself. From what i understand, the manufacturer adds or removes something from the soy when it is processed, making it just fine to eat without effecting hormone levels. I can't remember the details, but thats my reasoning behind it.

I've used creatine but didn't see many improvements with it. I use a total carb powder as a supplement during my training when bulking. That seems to work for me. But then each for their own.

Thats probably got to be the most underrated thing in the fitness industry today. Importance of water is not pushed nearly enough, but then again you don't make money telling people that they need to drink more water, do you? Not really... Seriously, a gallon a day is absolute rock bottom MINIMUM if your tryin to gain size strength performance, whatever.
