health and fitness is the main reason. but also do it to look good and for sports.

Right now I'm training to look good for wrestling, but also for a competition in the summer of 2010. I'd love to get to the level of training for a pro card, just looking to get better everyday.

Mostly looks but, also as a kind of test to see if I can do it - get bigger and stronger that is.

it was a toss -up for me really, I'm not planning on competing, but I want to see how big I can get, same with strenght, not competing, just love always moving up in the weights. Obviously most of us do it to look good too. I chose health and fitness though because I want to look and feel like a 30 year old when I'm 50. Same reason as why I don't smoke, do drugs, and rarely drink.

I think originally I fall into the other category. I just...really enjoy weightlifting. I took it as a PE class in highschool and just fell in love with the amazing power I found over my own body. At this point it is primarily to look good, with the rest of my exercise and diet for health purposes. At some point it will be for strength and fitness to support a martial art.

I'd say my biggest is motivation is to look good, even though I'm already drop dead sexy . Haa jk, I was a pretty chubby 5th grader (harassed for it) and it's always been a personal goal of mine to attain "G.I. Joe-ism". Still have another year or so till I get the look I want, but I've already dropped 40lbs of fat and gained 10 in muscle since August. Oh how I miss the days where I would'nt even glance at the nutritional content of what I'm eating. D:
