do you think its better to work my traps (shrugs) on my push days with my chest and shoulders...or my pull days with my back?

.... A simultaneous trap and chest pump makes you look HUGE!!!!!!!!!!

But if you do deadlifts on back day, i would do them then. WIth shoulders i mean.

really, it depends on if and when you deadlift IMO. See, im weird i use deadlifts for legs, not back, but lets say you do do deads for legs. YOu would be hitting traps on leg day, back day, and shoulder day ( since i would then advise you to do traps with your shoulders).

But if you do deads for back day, then yeah, do traps on shoulder day.

If you don't do deadlifts, do shrugs on back day.

Make sense?

i personally do it with my back. depends on how you feel. try it on both days and see how you like it and go by that.

I prefer them with shoulders, but i'm currently doing a three day split and so i throw them in at the end of back day.

I do mine with shoulders. I'm already in the shoulder mentality and they are right next door.

I rarely do specific traps training because I find deadlifts on back and chest day more than satisfy my stimulus requirement. If I ever did shrugs it was usually on shoulders day since I find laterals and presses stimulate the traps too.

Doing behind the back shrugs is really helping with my lower traps and middle back. I guess Lee Hany and Ronnie Coleman know what their doing after all!
