I mix in a scoop of EAS vanilla whey and some fresh bluberries... It's not the greatest, but it gets the job done...

When not trying to get leaner I eat flavored oatmeal usually and when trying to get leaner or lose weight I just eat plain bland oats. If I could eat tuna out of the can for the last 10 years oatmeal is easy.

I put my oats in a blender.

1 Cup oats, preblend it so it mixes

2 Tbsp olive oil
Scoop whey
frozen blueberries
half a shaker cup of water

makes 1 shaker cup of smoothy, actually tastes good and has great macros. Have one everyday for breakfast

Why do you guys use oatmeal? Is that a bodybuilding thing? I'm just trying to lose weight, but I always have oatmeal before the gym because I find it's a nice, steady burn of energy. I assume it's the complex carbs. Keeps me fueled.

I get instant oatmeal. One package of plain and then my grocery store sells "lower sugar" maple, so I take one of those and I mix both packages. Then you have a lower, lower sugar oatmeal that tastes good but doesn't have a lot of sugar like the other instant oatmeal you'll buy.

oatmeal.. ground oats not the store packaged kids sugar stuff but pure oats.. are the most slow burning carb available.. they are fantastic to dieting as they are also filling and do not cause insulin spike (which causes the fat gain)
