I have my oats every morning (nearly) With a scoop of chocolate whey, a packet of splenda, a small scoop of PB, and a cup up banana. Tastes pretty good, and oddly enough the banana makes it a lot quicker to eat (I eat it on the way to campus during my morning drive, right out of the pot). Half a cup of dry oats, those things added, and a glass of fat free milk, and it's a pretty solid breakfast.

I used to have it with some cinnamin and apple sauce, which is also pretty good.

Anything in particular that is unappealing? My particular method tastes like a dessert really.

-cinnamon
-diced apple
-touch of splenda

There is a reason why apple/cinnamon is the most popular oatmeal packet thingy.

I have a thing of Vanilla Extract in my desk at work.

I eat 1 cup of oatmeal, so I use 2 packets of splenda and a splash of vanilla.

Since everyone else is adding their oatmeal recipes, I'll do the same.

-Cook oatmeal in water for a minute or two
-Take off heat, let water evaporate
-mix in skippy natural
-mix in scoop of weigh
-add milk

stir all together.

Quite tasty.

I put in apple and blueberries, and a teaspoon or more of oat bran or wheat bran, for the extra roughage that makes your colon happy!
