The stare down between Silva and Belfort tonight was intense, tomorrow is going to be insane. I can't wait.

i thought Belfort had something going there for about 15 seconds and then...BAMMMMM from wow.com right to the face

my other reactions from the night-
Franklin and Forrest careers are both finished...they will never be in the mix of anything ever again

Jon Bones Jones hit a reverse leap frog...that man is for real

That title fight is going to be on such short notice I wonder who that benefits the most?

Also factor in that Shogun doesn't match up well with wrestlers, that's why many believed Evans was going to beat him. Jones being in the same camp with a lot more tools than Evans should have a better chance of capturing the belt. Jones is basically BJ Penn with good work ethic and drive, to be training for only 3 years and already to fighting for the belt is insane.

Well ****....I hate that it ended that way. Belfort was gettin off on Silva and I still think he has the tools to beat him. Also, LOL Steven Seagal says he taught Silva that kick. Just wait til GSP teams up with Chuck Norris!!!

As for the Jones/Bader fight, figured it would happen like that. Jones is unstoppable and will run thru Rua. Rashad already said if Jones wins he is either bumping up or dropping down. I, for one, would rather see Silva vs Jones than GSP.

The Griffin/Franklin fight was a let down. But oh well, still an ok fight.

Thoughts on BJ/Fitch???

You never know which BJ Penn is going to show up, if he's driven there's not many people that can beat him. If he's in shape I see him stuffing Fitch's takedowns and picking him apart on his feet.

So what does everyone think about Zuffa purchasing Strikeforce? Dana White says they're going to continue to operated separately, no chance of any super fights.

i kind of think it's good to have some competition...so i don't think it's an awesome move to buy Strikeforce...for me i compare it to the old wresting days...i used to think WWE was pretty cool, then they bought ECW and WCW which were their competition and then the product went downhill...maybe it's a a different situation here...but i guess we'll have to see
