Thanks man, we had a really good time.
Silva over Maia Penn over Edgar Hughes over Gracie Munoz over Kendall Grove I think the Silva fight will possibly be a yawn. I see either BJ winning decisively, as well as Hughes. They matched Hughes up with someone who hasn't ever really beaten anybody, and is no threat to outstrike Matt. Matt will overpower him by gnp, or UD. I think Munoz will display some of his dominate wrestling on Kendall. Could be fight of the night.

From what I'm reading Sonnen and Belfort are begging for the next shot so they can try to take out Silva.

I think that except for the main event, this card was pretty good. We got to see some pretty slick submissions, and a great fight in the Munoz/Grove fight.
The Baby Jay/Franky fight was very close. It was not a robbery by no means, but I suppose they went on damage that Franky did to give him the fight. I just wish the judges were consistent in their scoring (i.e. Shogun/Machida). On Anderson Silva...I have agreed with Sonnen in his remarks that I think he is overrated. If you pay attention, anytime a legitimate contender surfaces (i.e. Hendo, Belfort, etc.) Silva complains and whines so as to attempt to fight someone else. Hendo dominated him for a round and was winning until he got caught, and I think if they were to fight again he would take Silva out. Belfort is a much more efficient striker than Maia, and I think some quick heavy hands may be too much for Silva. If you also recall, Silva is not very good at takedown defense. I mean Travis Lutter had him for goodness sakes. What is he going to do when a world class wrestler who truly believes he can beat him takes him down? We all seen the gnp Sonnen put on Marquardt. I think Sonnen truly believes he can beat Silva, and that is half the battle. Silva is simply a clown, and highly overrated. If he was so good, then after his antics Saturday, he should have just finished the fight. That is why Forrest got knocked out so quickly. He didn't hesitate to push the pace. That's Silva's game. To sit back and let people come forward. I also think GSP would take him down and pound out a decision. To continue my rant on Silva. This was simply a slap in the face to the UFC and its fans. He has done this continuously (vs Cote, Leites, and now Maia). For it to happen on this stage is bad for the UFC. A company in Abu Dhabi just bought 10 percent of the UFC, invested the funds to build an outdoor arena, and then the supposed best fighter of the company you bought comes and puts on a performance like this??? I think Dana should demote Anderson to an undercard on a fight night event until he actually shows some desire/respect/etc.

Mousasi (THE NEW FEDOR) over Lawal
Henderson over Shields the first time i saw Mousasi, all i could think about was fedor...if you watch his demeanor you'll know what i mean.

Quote:
As far as the brawl goes they pinned it all on Mayhem, which I believe was unfair. People come out after matches in the UFC all the time. Rampage didn't know Rashaad was coming out, they didn't brawl. All I got to say is Mayhem must be a little crazy because he took on the entire camp, I saw a pic of Nick Diaz and Jake Shields throwing punches at him at the same time. This brawl hurt MMA in general.
