the fans can boo all the want...silva should've known that Evans was going to take him down...he got schooled in everything wrestling...i applaud evans...Silva did come close to finishing the fight in the 3rd round and probably could've but was too busy trying to mock Evans.

I agree, which is one of the major reasons this kept me from going to a bar to watch the fights and subjecting myself to listening to drunk people claim that they could do better. I honestly saw this fight ending one of two ways, if it went the distance Evans was the logically choice, if it ended Silva via TKO. Evans understood how dangerous Silva was on his feet so for the most part he eliminated that from the fight. I hear in May that Evans will be fighting Rampage so that card seems to be shaping up nicely as Machida and Rua will have their rematch on that one, you gotta figure the winner of Evans and Rampage will get a shot.

All I know is that I think the UFC got a contender for submission of the year in its very first fight of 2010 with Miller's inverted triangle/kimura combo. That was sick and Lauzon never saw it coming. It was slick as hell how he cinched his legs together without using his hands.

Wonder how many people are jumping on the Semtex bandwagon? He hasn't proved much to me yet. Put him in with a good wrestler (Hughes, Kos, Fitch) and then I'll be very impressed if he comes out on top. Thats my opnion as an analyst of the sport.

As a fan on the other hand, Daley vs. Rumble would be an incredible matchup. 2 fast-paced, strong, striking-oriented fighters who have really brought it in all their UFC appearances. One wants to recover from a loss (and we know how scarce fighters with losing streaks can be in the UFC) and one is on his way up in a division that is desperately looking for plausible challengers for GSP (see Dan Hardy). Hopefully someone at Zuffa is thinking the same way as me.

I was talking with a co-worker yesterday about this yesterday, that I can't see Daley going very far in that division, but I would like to see him fight Rumble. Today I couldn't help but think how cool it would be to see Dan Hardy fight Thiago Alves.

an update on Lesnars future should be coming in the next week...i hope he is healthy enough to continue his MMA career...here are my pics for WEC 46

i wish i was going to be home to watch this card...it looks solid all the way through
