i really cant pick mitrione or jones because either one of these fighters is so unpredictable...Jones can get clocked out pretty easy, but at the same time, it seems to me that mitrione will quit if he gets into a bad position

Houston over Kimbo

I'm picking Houston over Kimbo, I see Houston not allowing Kimbo to stalk, coming right after him and KO'ing him in the first.

I didn't watch all but a couple episodes of TUF so I won't pick any of those fights.

I'm going with Jon Jones over Matt Hammill, love Jones unorthodox standup, I can't see how anyone could prepare for it.

such a boring fight, then some good action...i was rooting for kimbo all the way, and i agree w/ the comment..i think houston is done after letting a rookie beat him like that and not being very aggressive..i will give him props tho, i think his whole game revolved around hurting kimbos knee..and it looked like he did..but now props to kimbo for learning some ground game and really training for the fight...he has made strides in terms of improvement

Strides of improvement? Kimbo's been training MMA for 3 years now, he's 35, and he barely managed to eek out a boring decision against a guy that the UFC cut and then re-signed as a hand-picked punching bag for Kimbo, perhaps the only person in the UFC with a worse ground game than Kimbo. The difference between Kimbo now and 3 years ago is minimal and I see no reason, marketing aside, for him to be anything better than an undercard fighter.

That said, I wouldn't be shocked if they milked this popularity cow for every last drop and put him up against someone else insanely popular. Loser of Couture/Coleman anyone?

I was saying the same thing to someone at work today, you're going to compliment his ground game when he's controlling someone who doesn't have one. Get ready for the UFC to start serving up hand picked opponents, can anyone say Elvis Sinosic?

Well, he won't be fighting Kimbo anytime soon because, yes, he is back in the UFC if only momentarily. He is fighting in UFC 110 as its being held in his native country, Australia.

If you ask me, I say he deserves it. Not for his record, but for willingly taking an ***-beating over and over again from up-and-coming talent in the UFC. He'll fight anyone, puts up a good fight, and I think is getting rewarded for it.
