OK, here's my picks:
- Rampage over Jardine - Carwin over Gonzaga - Hamill over Munoz - Maynard over Miller (additionally calling that this will go to unanimous decision) - Boetsch over Brilz - Vera over Patt Notes: - You've all heard my analysis of the main event - Although I liked him initially, I think Gonzaga is turning out to be a one kick wonder. I'm trying to find non-UFC footage of Carwin, but its like impossible. I dont know enough about Carwin to be really comfortable with this call. - Hamill's got one loss (The split decision to Bisping loss was BS) to Rick Franklin and his striking is getting better) - Maynard, IMO, is only gonna get taken out by a big time striker, or one of the top in the division, neither of which applies to Jim Miller. I've been a fan of Maynard's since he took out one my of my favorites in Frankie Edgar. - Again, don't know much about Brilz, but Boetsch has been having some strong performances in the UFC. - I think this is a critical fight for Vera. A win big or get out sort of situation since he's had some snoozers lately and he's dropped 3 of his last 4. can't decide on the Grove v. Day fight so I'm staying out of that one. Still gotta do a little research on Carwin and Munoz, but I think they will stay the same. |

I was looking forward to the McCullough v. Hicks more than the main event. What a freaking let down. Jens did a pretty good job anouncing with Mir occupied.

yeah the third round was horrible...it should've been a no contest/draw because it was absolute crap...the end of the second round was awesome...and that's when the fighting stopped

Just read that Bobby Lashley has signed to fight Ken Shamrock March 21. I don't think Shamrock is going to retire until either someone cripples him or kills him.

I wish I had checked out your picks ahead of time, the fact that I didn't may be bad for you with my luck in picking winners lately. We might be getting a goose egg on Sat. |
