Default Love Dare Day 40

Write out a renewal of your vows and place them in your home. Perhaps, if appropriate, you could make arrangements to formally renew your wedding vows before a minister and with family present. Make it a living testament to the value of marriage in God's eyes and the high honor of being one with your mate.

What has God revealed to you during the Love Dare? How have your views of marriage changed? How committed are you to God and your spouse? Who can you share this with as a testimony?

This is another thing that has been put on my list of things to do this weekend. It's really hard to believe that I completed the Love Dare, but the journey continues. I think more than anything most of this journey had to do with swallowing my pride and meeting her needs regardless of if she was meeting mine. Becoming a selfless person isn't an easy task, the same with the majority of the dares, I learned it was impossible for me to complete them by myself. My eyes have really been opened to my reliance on God, and how vital His presence is in my marriage. The journey is far from over next week I will start reading "The Healthy Marriage Handbook", and pray daily that I can improve.

Sweet!

Lots of volume. I would have been feeling the chunks as well.

Strength went up in a week, I was thinking in the gym, I've never been a particularly strong person, but I have never done any sort of power training either. So I'm hoping this allows me to take my strength to levels never experienced before. Hopefully be the end of the summer I'll be putting up some PRs.

Did you start reading the Healthy Marriage Handbook yet?

Would you recommend the 40 day Love Dare to others?

Would you do it again?

I haven't started the Healthy Marriage Handbook yet, I'm still in the process of completing the last two dares, the last two are difficult, I want to be able to put my heart into them.

I would recommend the Love Dare to others, but you have to be ready to step outside of your normal comfort zone and check your pride at the door. I'd like to say that I'd be willing to do it again, but in the mean time I just want to learn and grow to be a better husband and dad.

Had to cut this one short was feeling so drained by the end, felt like I was getting sick. I think it's a combination of my work schedule and this new routine that has my body pretty worn out, one more day then a well needed rest day.

Week 2 of PHAT is officially in the books, body is feel really tired so looking forward to my day off tomorrow. I noticed my triceps feel incredibly week, but I think a lot of it has to do with them being pre-exhausted with the chest exercises, I may switch the order that I do exercises in later workouts to allow them to push some weight around.
