Day 1 - Top End Deadlift
Rack Deadlift (4 pin) warmup- barx50 (full ROM) progressively heavier singles 326x3 356x3 386x3 416x3 446x3 476x3 496x3 (10 lb pr) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK_xW1IF2PE 516x1 (10 lb pr) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AD7vc1JU5g This is going to sound ridiculous, but I passed gas shortly after picking up the weight, (it sounds like breathing in the video) but you'll see I stall for a few seconds while I pass gas, then the weight goes up. My Theory: It seems as if I couldn't maintain the intra-abdominal pressure needed to lift the weight while passing gas. ![]() ss w/ Hang Clean 60, 60, 80, 80, 80, 90, 90, 90 x 4-5 reps Iso Deadlift (ground to 4th pin) 236 x 9-10 seconds 246 x 9-10 seconds 256 x 9-10 seconds 266 x 9-10 seconds ss w/ Hang Clean 100, 110, 120, 130 x 3 Hang Clean 140, 150, 160 x 1 Circuit: Depth Jump BWx10, 3 sets Leg Extension 80, 95, 105, 115 x 8 Hammer Curl 25.5, 30.5, 35.5 x 8, 40.5x9 Great workout, 516 didn't feel that bad, I know it looked bad, but serious, it seemed to just be my gas holding me back. Next week, I lower the pins on Rack Deads to #3. We'll see how that impacts my weights. Note: My chest is destroyed from yesterday's workout, it was definitely the change from rack bench to full ROM that is causing my DOMS.

I feel really good about them, my form on the Snatch grip PR was better than my previous PR.

Nice vids man. Good work on the chins. I have found that is one exercise that progress can be seen very quickly when adding weight as you have done. Also nice weight for the Pendlays. It looks like your back is getting pretty dang strong...deadlifts?
