If I was a whiz with Photoshop like my wife I would whip up a picture of my dog with red line knee wraps on....but I am not, so you will just have to imagine!

In other news....

The budget lets New York Democratic Governor Cuomo squeeze $450 million in concessions from unions. If they balk, he may sack 10,000 government workers

What would they say if Wisconsin Governor Walker tried this?

Related to the recent Koran burning....

Guest on MSNBC says Koran is the Word of God, but the Bible was just written by men

Hmmm, not quite an accurate view of the Bible, Christians believe the Bible to be the Word of God.

Do Christians kill in response to these acts?

U.S. Military burns Bibles

Muslims persecute Christians

Saudi Government destroys Bibles

Wow, for the first time ever, I find myself agreeing with Chris Matthews.

Why Do Muslims Blow Up A Buddha Statue But Kill When Koran Is Burned?

Up for laugh? I hope so, because otherwise it will make you cry.

This is week 3 of my 3 week block, my tendons are telling me it is time for a deload. It is back to being cold and even snowing (global warming ), so I hope the weather breaks for next week so I can drag my tire for the deload.

I am also itching to pull a heavy single in the deadlift. I haven't done that in ages. I might try to make time for that during deload week.

Thursday

268 days to become a beast

AM

Occluded Walk with my dog (Thanks Arian!)

Lunch

Deadlift
411x3, 8 sets
371x6, 2 sets

Shrug - hold at top
236x20, 2 sets

SLDL
206x5, 2 sets

----

Deadlifts were heavy at first, middle sets felt good, got tough at the end as fatigue set it.

Had a WTH (what the heck - I don't like to curse, even with abbreviations ) moment today when I weighed in at 186 this morning. I was weighing in light all last week and I am pretty darn anal/consistent with my food intake and training, so to wake up 3-4 pounds heavy was a shock.

Why use photoshop when you can do it in real life! Lol. As you can see, I am horrible at wrapping. That's why he usually gets someone else to do it.

Yes! Awesome picture!

This is neat because my dog is a black lab/pointer mix so he actually looks a lot like your dog....except he is jacked at 85 pounds....from all the occlusion of course.

Haha, they listed my dog as a doberman/bulldog mix at the pound but people always ask me if hes a lab or even a greyhound. He's only 60-65 lbs last I checked. Gotta get him on some dog protein and into the squat rack, lol.
