Can't see much of a difference... but I look a LOT leaner all around. My arms have always been very vascular and lean, it's my midsection that's starting to catch up.

Had the worst shoulder workout last night. I was tired and go tout of work late, but thought I could turn on the switch and just get psyched for my lifts. It didn't work; then again I didn't use any caffeine or anything.
I felt completely weak. I couldn't even get the 60lb dumbbellls over my head!! I had to drop. So after my poor first couple of lifts, I decided to make it a high-rep and fatigue session. I did lots of reps at lighter weights, really concentrating on fatiguing my delts. Kinda sore today, so tha'ts good. |

On another note, I fear that my sacroiliitis is chronic and will never go away. I've been researching online all day here at work. It appears a lot of epople have been dealing with this disability for years, and that they've tried everything from physical therapy to holistic medicine to cortisone shots.
I am seeing my doc again next week, after 5 months of failed PT, I hope he has another alternative for me. this is really depressing. |

So my team was supposed to play in a really important tournament on Saturday, but the regional committee for the competition had to cut two teams and we were one of them. Bitter. So I was already hyped-up on caffeine and loaded with carbs, so I went straight to the gym for a leg workout...
Squats (deep): 135x12; 185x10; 205x10; 225x8; 225x7; 225x6 Superset 135x6 Lunges: 25lb DB's walking ~20 meters, 3 times Upright leg press: 200lbs on the sled: 8, 8, 6 |

Saturday night was my company's holiday Christmas party, so I was out until 3AM and had a couple of drinks for the first time in 3 months! lol... I was never really drunk, but I definitely felt it- especially at the end of the night when the combination of sleepiness and alcohol had a huge effect.
I woke up at 9AM out of habit and had a big carb-load breakfast thinking I wouldn't be working out that day. Then I went grocery shopping and when I got home I had a bunch of energy... odd... so I a pre-workout meal and waited a few minutes then went to the gym for chest day. Pretty decent workout for having had little sleep and alcohol the night before: BB BP: 135x14; 165x10; 185x7; 185x6; 185x5 Dips: 12;10;10 Incline cable flys: 30x15; 35x12; 40x10 Upright row Lat pulldown (hammer grip) Reverse flys Oh, and I ate a ton... both for the party Sat night and just throughout the day Sunday. Haha. Need-ta growwwww! |

CHest workout is looking sick brother! Yeh, Friday Night I went to a Christmas party. UNfortunately I am on a cut, it was depressing!

I feel like I am growing, but my shoulders are still very far behind. I realized that yesterday when I was doing curls ... odd time to realize it, but whatever. Yesterday's workout: morning cardio and jumping plyometrics afternoon back and bis: --barbell row, but on the pivot contraption; 70x15; 90x12; 135x8 --seated cable row, hammer- close-grip... 160x12; 175x10; 180x8 --barbell t-bar row superset reverse flys... 70x12 ss 20x10; 95x8 ss 20x8; 95x8 ss 20x8 --ez-bar curls 65x12; 85x10; 85x8 --incline bench seated curls: 30x10; 30x10; 35x8 --cable 1-arm hammer curls: 25x12; 30x10; 35x9 supersetted with under-hand pull-ups (like 3 each set) this morning I did 30 minutes cardio then abs and a good stretch... my back is killing me for some reason. probably the plyos from yesterday. tonight is shoulders. |
