I experienced firsthand the effects of being stupid and trying to lift weights carb depleted today. I hadn't had anything but broccoli since I did the metabolic workout, and got up this morning and tried to do another GBC bout on just Xtend. Needless to say, I was utterly defeated and left the gym after just a few sets, I was also semi-low on sleep so that didn't help. But I came back, had some oatmeal and a spoonfull of sugar pre workout this afternoon and got in there and destroyed my upper body. Changing it up and doing the poliquin GBC routine which seperates body parts instead of full body. So its:

Chest/back
legs
off
arms/shoulders
off

Did some steady state cardio today. I did a few rounds of the Metabolic workout lifting part, followed by one bout of intense stair running, then just cruised for 30 min.

I am definately seeing progress, a few more weeks of what i'm doing and I will be at my goal!

Did a little running today, since I'm at home and have no access to the gym. Just ran out to a local field and did a few sprints, then walked around the track awhile.

I'm having a very intense day today! I ran this morning, just jogged to the track and walked about a mile and a half. Then I hit the weights, Deads super with Incline-leg press super with a back complex, just cause i havent hit the weights in a while. THEN i carried a few hundred pounds of lumber up 3 flights of stairs. Now i'm resting, my bed isnt set up yet but I think im going to set it up just so i can nap.

It's been a long hiatus with the last semester and the Christmas break. But I'm getting back into the routine. I kept my protien consumption up over my long break, but haven't been very active. Seems I have kept some of my strength but gotten a little softer and have a slight spare tire. Should be less busy now and I'm going to see if I can't get back to where I was and then back to PROGRESS!
