another great day at the PUMPING STATION...two more workouts left at the greatest gym in the world, Golds CHAMPaign. today i was sore as hell, pretty well all over, but we still managed to destroy our chest/shoulders/triceps


db flat bench-100's for 20/70's for 30
bb military-135 for 35
incline db bench-50's for 12
upright bb rows-135 for 12
seated ezbar curl tricep extensions-100 for 10
arnold crushers-bw for 9

abs

238 this morning....here are a couple of other numbers since i've been training up here in Champaign.


my squat went from around 275 (i had done 315 but it wasn't comfortable) to 365

my deadlift went from 455 to 515


it's amazing what you can do in one semester

today went alright...we lifted hard i just felt weak on the pulldowns compared with how i usually feel. some of it was likely due to the incline rows right before it. i went light on deadlifts and did a narrow stance (conventional) because it hurts my glute less than my normal stance which is wide. here's how it went...

incline db rows-100's for 8
neutral grip lat pulldowns-180 for 15/220 for 8
deadlifts-225 for 15
bilateral db curls-45's for 12
cross body hammer curls-45's for 12

here's how today went at my last training session with Chris '"the wizard of" Fahs. my legs are still shaking as i was unsure about even driving home due to my car being a stick. the only way to have a grand finale is to train legs with occlusion...occlusion is the way to go and to all those that don't believe i'll make you all believers when you see my legs the summer of '09.


leg press-645 for 12
leg curls-180 for 8
adductors-200 for 15
leg extension-occluded
calf raises-occluded

GAME OVER

it is official...i'm never ever going to bench press again. if i even post a barbell bench press stat of myself i hope Gabe deletes my account. this is just getting stupid...first Marc and Layne tear there pec on the same **** day, then a guy at MD tore his, then Bill hurt his, now Dom tore his pec again doing the bb bench press. this is a sign from the heavens just screaming at all of us bodybuilders...NO BENCH PRESS...i don't give a **** if you have 85 pounds on the bar...WHY RISK IT? i'm sticking to DB's 4life.

deload workout number 1...just hit shoulders/chest/back/abs...pretty light, high reps

bb military-135 for 15
db flat bench-75's for 15
neutral grip lat pulldowns-160 for 15

abs

30 minutes walking on the treadmill

i've been icing and i'll be getting worked on by a couple of the trainers everyday this week. gotta get this glute ready to rock by next monday. one of the AT's said it is very likely that i'll restrain it easily for a while until i can reteach those muscles how to relax correctly again. if it's 90% we're rolling next monday on the path to 540.
