my leg workout started off bad because i've had some trouble with my glute and when i squatted 315 it felt like it was about to tear...so i had to move on...that and quite a few people are talking about me negatively which is fine with me, so i decided to give the haters a video, so halfway through my workout i decided to do some Db Romanian Deadlifts after bb Romanian deadlifts...i was shooting for 40 but the lactate levels got to high...here's how today went...
bb squat-315 for 1 leg extensions-220 for 12 bb romanian deadlifts-405 for 8/425 for 3 db romanian deadlifts-130's for 36 calves all i have to say is TALK IS CHEAP...i CAN and i WILL beat you. Do not think for one second that i don't hear what you say because i hear every single word.

i'm back in Champaign...and i'm ready to rock it out for my last week here. my glute is pretty **** sore...and i believe if i would've tried a second rep with 315 that my glute would have been gone. i've never felt something like that before when i was lifting. i may have to back off on squats/deadlifts...although i likely won't...time to grow.

From my experience it's best to just back off on injuries like that. If it is not too serious, then you can work around it and it should be ok in a couple of weeks. But if you keep re injuring it, then it will linger or get worse.
Also, you can still get some good workouts in w/o squats / deads. And when you go back to those lifts, it will be a good shock!

i'm going to give working around it a try...i deload next week anyway...well if i survive this week, lol. today i was back at Golds Champaign for my last week here and we absolutely tore it up. i didn't do my bb rows like i normally do because my glute is currently killing me. so i just took the bar to knee level (a lot easier like this). here's how tonight went...
db incline bench-130's for 5/70's for 30 standing shoulder press-185 for 5/135 for 17 seated db tricep extensions-130 for 6 neutral grip lat pulldowns-270 for 8 plus 2 assisted bb rows-275 for 8/185 for 25 flat db flyes-50's for 30

i've made the decision that June 30th i will attempt 540 on the deadlift. that gives me ~10 weeks.

does anybody really know a thing about me? but one of these days we'll be in the same place in the same place punk, at the very same time yeah, but when it takes place and you wanna talk (!@#$%^&*) then step your (!@#$%^&*) up and say right to my face you'll get knocked the (!@#$%^&*) out 'cause your mouth's writing checks that your (!@#$%^&*) can't cash knocked straight the (!@#$%^&*) out LIMP BIZKIT one hell of a workout...the final countdown is on. we tore it up and i'm ready to rock and or roll...NO EXCUSES. i had to squat on the smith machine because of my glute but i just went light and pushed it to the limit. seated incline db curls-55's for 8 cross body hammer curls-60's for 8 calves db romanian deadlifts-150's for 25 smith machine squats-185 for 17
