Day 207

wow...what a day...got like 3-4 hours of sleep last night and was at school for just under 12 hours...teaching 2 classes + research = one hell of a day...one good thing, that nutrition test i thought i bombed, turns out i got an A on it...i worried for no reason...tomorrow i finish smolov...many have tried, many have failed...but i WILL NOT be one of those...tomorrow i kill the man, and become the monster

Day 208
SMOLOV #12

SMOLOV....YOU LOSE....i just finished and i am friggin pumped...i will find out my new max next week...this has been one of the most ridiculolus things i have ever tried in my life and i am **** proud to say i finished it...the second set of 365 was almost a disaster...the first set went great, the second set on the fourth rep, i got out of my groove and almost rocked straight backwards...as soon as i felt myself going back, i tensed my abs as hard as i could against my belt and somehow recovered the weight...now it's time to eat, and go rock out in lab

i started a bit before the holiday season so my weight was a little crazy but i was around 212...now i'm about 207-208...didn't take any measurements...the main measurement is i started at 345, 4 weeks later squatted 385, now we'll try for 400 this coming Thursday

today was some speed work...i'm going to be deloading the next two weeks, and test my new max next Thursday....my goal has been and still is 400...but we'll see how i feel...i honestly haven't slept well in quite some time, so it's amazing to me that i'm still functioning...after this deload, i'm going to go back to my upper lower heavy/upper lower hyper split...and that will take me up until graduation...as for where i'll be next year, still no clue

Day 211

another off day from the gym...mon/tue i will do some upper body work, i'm going to slowly increase my volume for upper body the next two weeks since i've been sticking to mainly a maintenance program for upper due to smolov....then Thursday i'll find my new max...i'm shooting for 400...then i'll take another week to slowly increase my upper body volume before i start all out March 13th...on another note i slept on my shoulder wrong a couple weeks ago and it's been bothering me ever since...i've had problems with my right shoulder for a long time due to an old wrestling injury...but i'll work around it...below is a picture of one of the guys i work with...he came over from India in August and has been working with me since...some people find it disturbing that the only think he knows about the USA, is from observing me, lol...in August he was a nice Indian gentleman, and i've slowly transformed him into this

Day 212
Transitioning Day #1
3 days out from the new Max

well i'm going to start increasing the volume/frequency of my upper body training...it's both a transition/deload period for me...this Thursday i find my new max and i can not wait. my goal for May was to squat 400, but i'm going to try and make that happen sooner...in academic news, i've still heard nothing from OU or FSU, but i did accept an invitation into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi...i feel very honored to be invited and i get initiated next month.
