Everytime I see a vid of Layne, you're right there Seriously...come down to Malden and psych me up like that! You even got in some interview time!

Day 202

today was some speed work...tomorrow we hopefully finish the current study...then sunday the last week of smolov begins...i WILL beat smolov and i will separate myself from those who smolov defeated...i really feel like i'm about to break out...it's been 202 days since my last show and i'm now in a position to really get down to business...at my last meet i felt my strength was at about 85%...i was really happy with how i did and i was really happy with how much strength i gained back from last years contest prep...after i finish smolov, because it is just a matter of time at this point (no i'm not overlooking you, but i have ZERO doubt), i will be 100% ready to get to the strongest i have ever been...my squat is the best ever, but my bench/deadlift will soon join the squat...but first...LETS FINISH WHAT WE STARTED

absolutely Ben...just read through that a couple days ago...excellent study...Dr. Rasmussen was actually talking about that study last summer, i've been patiently waiting for it...occlusion overcoming the anabolic resistance to aging...I LOVE IT...despite this...you'd be surprised on how many of the reviewers do not believe the data...they think occlusion is a joke...but the data keeps piling up....a reviewer on one of the studies from our lab ripped occlusion in his analysis of our study...he absolutely couldn't accept the science behind it

final week of smolov...i remember when i decided to do this...i was training up in St. Louis and Layne said...you know what you should try, smolov....and it was the best decision i have ever made...i may not be the strongest at squatting...but at least i have the confidence to squat now...something about squatting heavy 3-4 times a week really helps change your perspective...tomorrow our new study begins...i might as well get p<.05 tattooed on my face, because that's how our lab rolls baby
