I am on a sort of cut, menaing I have reduced my food intake, but am not terribly strict and calculated. I have uped my cardio aslo in an attempt to get rid of body fat. I have noticed that I have lost some strength but my workouts are still intense and I still get big time DOMS. I do not see why I shouldn;t continiue to make gains. I might not put on a lot of mass, but will continue to form and shape my muscle structure. Any thoughts?

I noticed on my cut I initially lost strength because of the calorie cut but I started to make gains about half way through. I am not positive because everyone is different, but I believe it is because of Cutting carbs that you lose strengh.

ive actually been having a clean diet with lots of protein and carbs and then limited carbs after say 6 pm besides pwo and pre workout, and switchin the carbs to fats after that, still keepng my protein intake up and eating 6 meals a day or more if i can. i have put on about 5 pounds over the last 3 weeks and my six pack is really coming in so you can do a combination of both, if your diet is key. also cardio too, dont leave that out.

I noticed that the fatter you are the better the results you will get. What I mean is you will have a much easier time putting on muscle while loosing fat. The leaner you are the harder it is to do that. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't always try. You should, no matter how lean you are or how much fat you want to loose. The more muscle you have the better off you will be as far as fat loss goes.
