Default 13 week hardcore fat burn Q

What are some options for fibrous starchy carbs?

Fibrous greens other than what are already listed on the diet?

Sources for omega 3 and 6 other than salmon?

I'm geraing up and start my cut on wednesday after my wiegh in. The guys at my firestation and I are having our "Last supper" at Hooters that day before the weigh in.

Also, I am working out at 3pm. SO How should I adjust the meals to accomodate this? As I read it, the plan is setup for an A.M. workout.

Fiberous carbs are literally anything green and vegetable. I could list them all here but go to
http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/wha...a/whatveg.htm.
has a big list of choices. Just a hint, though fresh vegies are good. Buy frozen ones then you can buy more at a time and then not worry about them going bad. then just put the amount you need in a container and can heat up when you need.

As for your other question. you can work out in the afternoon (3 p.m.) but switch around your meals that have carbs. eat your oatmeal an protein shake in the morning then hold off on the carbs until your pre and post workout meals. easy as that.

any fish is good. but the easiest of course tuna. If you dont like tuna or not the biggest fan you can try different ways to eat it on lettuce, in cottage cheese ect...and then as you mentioned Salmon. You can also get fish oil pills if can handle fish. make sure you get some Flax oil for Omega 3 and safflower oil for omega 6. there are nuts that also contain both. But fish and flax are best bet for 3. omega 6 is easier find it is in alot of protien sources. If you have any other questions about diet, feel free to ask me. even though not an expert. Haveing just finished and experieced it and know it works. So I could probably at least help you out.

I'm not sure that there is really any Omega 3 & 6 in canned tuna. It is so lean, where is the fat?

Salmon & Sardines definitely have Omega 3 & 6.

Jonser,
I’m not saying that tuna doesn’t have ANY omega-3 at all; I’m just skeptical about it having a significant amount. The 16g of protein can of tuna on my desk has only a half gram of total fat. While a can of sardines with the same amount of protein has 6 to 8 grams of total fat.

The sardines have over a gram of Omega-3 plus over half a gram of Omega-6. That’s more Omega-6 in sardines than the TOTAL fat in canned tuna.
Do you see what I’m saying about significance?

Don’t get me wrong, Tuna definitely has its place during the day when you want protein without a fat source.
